Terms and Conditions

1. All teams must pay their match fee in full prior to each respective fixture. Failure to do so will result in the match not taking place and the defaulting team being liable for both teams match fees.

2. Upon signing up to a County 5IVES centre each team agrees to commit to the full league fixture programme for the league they are placed in.

3. Teams are entitled to request one postponement during the season, so long as a written notification is received a minimum of 48 hours prior to the published fixture Kick Off time.

4. Any postponed fixture will be re-arranged to take place on a date and time agreed by both teams. However, if a mutual date and time cannot be agreed then Norfolk County Football Association will have the power to set the date and time for the postponed fixture to take place.

5. All County 5IVES players must be aged 16 or over and register for the team they intend playing for. If a player is not registered they will not be allowed to play in any fixture until they complete the necessary paperwork for said team. Should a team play an unregistered player, this will be dealt with in line with the Rules of the Competition.

6. Prior to the first fixture of each season, the team manager or, in their absence, a nominated individual must present a completed Registration Booklet with signed details of all players. Failure to do so will result in the implementation of ‘Strike One’ (as per Term 8). No fixtures can take place until the Player Registration Booklet is completed and submitted to the relevant County 5IVES personnel.

7. All registered players automatically become de-registered at the completion of the current season’s fixtures, subject to all outstanding debts being cleared.

8. Teams that call off any County 5IVES fixture(s) during a season will be subject to the following three strike system.

Strike One – First Call Off: Match fee is payable in full within 28 days of the fixture in question.
Strike Two – Second Call Off: Match fee is payable in full within 14 days of the fixture in question.
Strike Three – Third Call Off: Both teams match fees are payable in full within 14 days of the fixture in question.

Where a debt is not paid within the stipulated timescales in relation to Strikes 1,2 or 3 then a late fine of £30 will be added to the outstanding debt. If this additional debt is then not paid within 14 days the team could face expulsion from the County 5IVES league and be reported to the Norfolk County Football Association under The Football Association’s Football Debt Recovery Scheme.

9. If a team does not attend a fixture without making a member of the FDC staff aware they will be charged their own match fee which must be paid prior to the team’s next fixture. Should a team not respond and or clear the said debt as stipulated, it will  be assumed that the team are not attending the following fixture and this will be treated as Strike Three of Term 8 with the team then being removed from the league, in line with Term 10.

10. If a team wishes to withdraw from the league part way through the season a written notification is required giving two weeks’ notice. The team will then be required to fulfil the next two corresponding fixtures and subject to having no outstanding debt and fulfilment of these two fixtures they will then be able to pull out of the league. Should a team not adhere to these terms they will be charged a league exit fee of £120 and will be withdrawn from the league with immediate effect. Any outstanding debts relating to a team that has withdrawn from a league must be paid within 14 days from the point of withdrawal from the league. Failure to pay within this period will result in the debt being proportioned against all registered players within the team, as per the player information within the current Registration Booklet. All registered players will then be individually liable for their proportion of the debt. Each registered player will then have a further 14 days to pay their debt prior to it being transferred to the Norfolk County Football Association under The Football Association’s Debt Recovery Scheme.

11. Should a debt be transferred to the Norfolk County Football Association Governance Department the debt will be collected from individuals under the Football Debt Recovery scheme in line with Football Association regulations, meaning potential suspensions from all football until the debt is cleared.

12. Norfolk County Football Association has the right to change and/or amend these Terms and Conditions and League Rules without notice. However, should any changes be made, competing teams will be made aware of such changes at least 7 days prior to them being implemented.

13. The County 5IVES Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with the Rules and Laws for our County 5IVES programme.

Pitch Hire

  • Time slots and specific pitches are available on a first come, first served basis
  • Bookings are subject to availability and will only be confirmed on receipt of full payment
  • Block bookings will only be confirmed on full receipt of a completed booking form. A 10% discount is available for slots extended for 10 weeks or more, which are paid for in full or invoiced before the first booking
  • For other continuous bookings, the first 2 weeks must be paid on application, with the remainder being paid a week in advance
  • No refunds are given for no-shows or cancellations once bookings have been confirmed; any outstanding payments will still be required   

Room Hire

Booking
  • All prices are correct at the time of quoting, and are subject to change without notice. 
  • Bookings are subject to availability and will only be confirmed on receipt of full payment and completed booking form
  • Once payment has been received  you will receive a confirmation email from a FDC staff member requesting details of any specific requirements

Room Setup
  • Early access to your room may be available, but cannot be guaranteed. To request this please email theFDC@NorfolkFA.com
  • Various room layouts are available. Should any requirements change following your original requests please email theFDC@NorfolkFA.com, although no guarantees can be given
  • At the conclusion of your meeting, the room is excepted to be left in a reasonable state, in line with how it was at the start of your booking
  • IT equipment is available for the duration of your booking, which must be requested at the time of booking, an additional fee may be charged for certain items

Cancellations and Alterations
  • Cancellations are permitted by written confirmation. Please email theFDC@NorfolkFA.com should you need to cancel.
  • If you cancel your booking the following admin charges are applied
  • Up to 1 week – no fee charged
  • Less than 1 week – 20% of the hire fee
  • Any amendments to an original booking must be requested in writing and will be confirmed or otherwise in writing by the Centre

Site Access
  • Ample free parking is available on site.
  • All cars are parked on site at the owners risk
  • Wheelchair access is available to all meeting rooms 

Damage or loss of property
  • The Client will be responsible for any loss or damage to FDC property which is attributed to a member or members of the party throughout the duration of the booking
  • Norfolk County FA cannot accept any liability for personal property bought into the Centre

Licenses
  • The FDC holds a Premises License under the Licensing Act 2003 that covers all relevant licensable activities
